About Marcus Elliott

Marcus Elliott is a certified Fascial Stretch Therapist and board-certified massage therapist, who specializes in Fascial Stretch Therapy™. Fascial Stretch Therapy™ is one of the quickest, most effective and pleasant methods to eliminate pain and restore function. Any client of any age, cleared by their doctor for stretching and active movement, can learn to move and feel better. He and his team also offer Swedish massage, sports massage and myofascial release. He loves working with the body and solving the intricate puzzles of the body to help his clients to perform with more agility. He has cared for athletes of all ages in the MD area for close to a decade.

Teaching a wide range of clients how to strengthen and support their bodies is one of Marcus’s passions. He has helped many elite and professional athletes from around the country to maximize their strength, endurance, and performance with state of the art soft tissue system/movement based stretching and massage techniques. The techniques are used to treat muscles, tendons, ligaments, fascia and nerves. Many of his clients are seniors, and he loves working with the aging population to help them become as strong and comfortable as possible.

Marcus comes to the Rockville, Maryland and D.C. area from California and brings more than a decade of fitness experience, including weight training, cardio and conditioning to his therapeutic practice. After receiving his Bachelor of Science in Biology, he became a certified personal trainer and had his interest piqued in Massage Therapy – so enrolled in the Central Maryland School of Massage. He continued his certification and studied levels 1-3 of Fascial Stretch Therapy at the Stretch to Win Institute in Arizona.

Marcus’s holistic approach often includes teaching his clients to integrate basic nutrition, corrective exercises, as well as core and balance training for enhanced health and well-being. For more information, please contact us.
